City
Council Jobs
My opinion of City Council was people who
lied, cheated and stole to achieve a higher place (or order) of
living. This is not the case! The great men and women within
the City Council are here to help improve housing crisis,
education and anti-social behaviour. From Aberdeen to Plymouth,
they fight for us. As you know, here in the UK the City Council
do not just have their Council jobs, but they also work in
different industries within their respected communities. What
does this mean? That these people are on the frontlines with
us, fighting for a better place to live, better well-being. As
working class people we all feel, like the underdog whose voice
is never heard. With the Council on the same plateau as us,
they feel the same way but their voice is heard.
The members of Council are our instruments
to get our point(s) across, to make our city(s) the finest to
live in. From Lord Mayors to Councillors and Committee members
to volunteering members, they are all here to help to keep the
anarchists out of our communities. What else does the Council
do? Other than fighting for our rights, they implicate services
that help struggling people gain an education, housing and
benefits to help prevail in the failing economy. In addition to
this, they also help people with learning or social
difficulties to get the help they need to live a better
life.
All the City Councils within the U.K. have
the same goals in mind. Help people, help the community(s) and
give people the opportunity to learn in all levels of
education. I do not know about you but I too have these goals,
I help people for the simple fact that it makes life
meaningful. You may not agree with me but take a moment to
think of the last person you helped.
After you helped them, you felt like a
superhero, correct. They felt like a superhero also, correct?
We forget nowadays to help thy neighbour, we are consumed with
our own difficulties that our city(s) have become grungy and
not the paradise we once knew and loved. The City Council
members are helping us realise that paradise is just around the
corner. Picture it, a city with low to no crime, no housing
issues, no educational issues, excellent roads, parks and
community centres. I can keep going but let your imagination
take over I shall wait.
Of course, these changes shall not happen
overnight but the ball is rolling and you can see improvements.
It is nice to see our taxes in motion. The City Council is
always looking for great men and women to help with hands on
work. How you can help more is possibly a career with the
Council or becoming a committee member, or just volunteering
with your local Councillor or committee members. Some of you
might fear change but how can you fear something that is for
the good of your city?
Put your trust into City Council take that
leap! You shall not be disappointed with your decision. I have
some final words for you. I struggling to keep the kids fed,
clothed and educated but I have taken that leap and even though
I cannot see it at this moment, I still know the grass shall be
greener on the other side. When you are out today, help your
neighbour by just saying “hello” with a smile.
